Photo Gallery: The Prettiest Street in San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende is a small, charming town located a four-hour bus ride from Mexico City. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its colonial architecture, cobblestone streets and the gorgeous Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, but Megan’s favorite part of the city was its beautiful homes. For example, this was our Airbnb:

And these are just a few of the picturesque homes we passed by on our daily walks into town:

One day, while wandering around the center of town, we walked by a street that took my breath away. Big wooden doors, pretty colors, the best kind of plant problem…. I convinced Jonathan we should walk that way, and then I not-so-casually took photos of every door we passed. The best part? We only passed one other person the whole time! It was not a crowded street at all.

Oh, you want to know where this beautiful avenue is? Fine, I’ll tell you. Callejón del Pueblito. Definitely worth a stroll if you find yourself in San Miguel de Allende!
